Delete your account in the app

In the DishDelightful mobile app: Account → Delete Account.

1. Open DishDelightful on your phone
2. Go to Account
3. Choose Delete Account
4. Confirm by typing DELETE

You must be signed in. Deletion is irreversible once accepted.

Can't access the app?

If you cannot use the mobile app or sign in, contact DishDelightful support through the Contact support page. Include the email associated with your account. Do not paste recipe text, passwords, or payment card details.

What happens when you delete your account?

Your account is disabled when the deletion request is accepted. DishDelightful then permanently deletes or de-identifies account-associated data through its deletion process, except for limited records we may retain where required for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, or similar obligations. Encrypted backup copies may remain until normal backup retention periods expire.

Account-associated DishDelightful data is removed, including personal recipes and cookbook content, meal plans, favorites and cooking history, grocery and pantry items, leftovers, preferences, Dishi conversations, meal-scan data, notification preferences and device registrations, and related user-owned content, subject to the limited retention described below.

What may be retained?

Records needed for billing, tax, fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations may be retained (for example provider invoices, store webhook events, and admin or security audit references). Encrypted database backups may retain copies until normal backup retention periods expire. Deletion audit records keep operational status codes without recipe or conversation content.

Subscriptions

Deleting your DishDelightful account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google. Cancel the subscription through your App Store or Google Play account.
